VISALIA - Just 7 days away! Join us for the inaugural Visalia Convention Center Boots, Brews and Bacon Festival at the Visalia Convention Center on Saturday, July 29, 2017. The Boots, Brews and Bacon Festival is a beer tasting festival designed to build the appreciation of craft brew all while listening to live music and enjoying what else, bacon! The festival will take place indoors in the nicely air conditioned building on July 29 and will feature craft beers, both from local distributers and breweries and local restaurants sampling their best bacon bites for you to taste.
In addition to crafts, domestics and imports, root beer provided by the A&W Root Beer Float Mobile will be available for sampling. Perhaps you can try your first stout beer- ice cream mini float. Wine provided by Cacciatore Fine Wines will be available for sampling, for those attendees who wish for even more variety than already available. A $1,000 CASH PRIZE and a frying pan with bacon trophy to display will be awarded to the restaurant for the best bacon bite as voted by the attendees.

Ten participants will have the chance to battle it out for their chance to be crowned the California Pork Producers Association 2017 Bacon Eating Contest Champion. Do you have what it takes to finish bacon faster than anyone? Those that would like to participate can call 559-713-4000 for more information on how to enter. The winner will receive two tickets to the 2018 Boots, Brews and Bacon Festival, $50 gift certificate to BL Quality Meats and a pretty cool trophy. Ribbons will be awarded to 1st-10th place finishers.
