Madera High Security Guard Arrest For Molestation

MADERA - A Madera High School security guard has been arrested for sexually molesting two of his children, possibly for over the last five years. The suspect is in custody on four felony counts and $325K bail.

Big Valley News has reached out to Madera High Principal Kent Albertson for a comment but neither him nor the school district has returned our calls. We have not been able to determine if any other children are involved in this case or if any Madera High students were affected.

The security guard was placed on paid administrative leave and has been booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections and is being charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.

His bail was upheld in a bail hearing Tuesday at the Madera County Superior Court. He is being defended by the public defenders office. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday February 28th. The suspect has been in custody since February 10th.

At this time Big Valley News is not releasing the name of the suspect in order to protect the privacy of his children.
