Madera County Man Arrested for Sex Trafficking – Additional Victims Sought

MADERA RANCHOS – Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives Madera Ranchos resident Dylan Colby Nichols Dobbs (27) Tuesday after an investigation involving his abuse, coercion, and sex trafficking of a 22-year-old woman  

Dobbs has been using social media to contact and befriend potential victims. Detectives believe he has been sex trafficking several women and girls in the San Francisco Bay and Las Vegas areas and controlling them through coercion, threats, and violence.

The suspect has been booked into Madera County Department of Corrections and held on $1,025,000 bail for the following charges:

PC 236.1(a) Human Trafficking, felony
PC 30305(a) Possess Ammunition by Prohibited Person, felony
PC 368(d) Financial Elder Abuse, felony
PC 487 Grand Theft, felony
Dobbs is also being held on probation violations.

The Investigative Services Unit at California Highway Patrol – Central Division is also charging Dobbs with the unrelated drive-by shooting that occurred on Highway 41 earlier last week.
