Josephine Raviscioni (91) was born \on September 8, 1931, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Jimmy and Mittie Laws. She passed away on August 25, 2023, in Fresno, California. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Raviscioni, and grandson Jason Cook.

She is survived by her 3 children, Donald Cook, Doris Cook, David Cook (Mary), grandchildren Stacy Cook and Nicholas Cook, and great-grandchildren Tyler Burkhalter, Chelsie Burkhalter, and Haylee Cook.

Josephine loved working as a Real Estate Agent for 28 years, the last 20 years with her business partner Pat Scrivner. She retired at the age of 89 in 2019. Josephine has helped Madera grow from a small town of 12,000 in 1953 to a city of more than 70,000 people.

Her family and friends loved her for the wonderful person she was, and she will be missed.

A Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Arbor at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
