RENO - The Fall motorcycle rally in Reno known as Street Vibrations rolled out of town Sunday night after a hugely successful and safe weekend of entertainment, poker runs and fun. It is estimated the 22nd annual rally brought in more than $114 million into the local economy through hotels, restaurants, gasoline and sales from the more than 50,000 participants.
On Thursday television star Erik Estrada served as grand marshal for the parade of police bikes to kick off the event. He later sat for a meet and greet where fans took photos and got autographs from the "CHiP's" star. Estrada wasn't the only entertainment, bands from across the country performed at the over ten stages through-out the rally in Reno, Carson City and Virginia City.
But of course the reason for everyone riding in was the star of the show, MOTROCYCLES.
Attendees who purchased VIP packages from the event organizer, Reno Roadshows, were offered daily poker runs around the Reno - Lake Tahoe area. For those who's butt was still numb from the ride in, there was also a poker-walk around the event in Reno.
Street Vibrations Fall Rally is the last major rally of the year. The spring version of the rally will role back into Reno on June 2nd 2017 for a three day run. Reno Roadshows will then take their show on the road to Hollister for the Independence Rally on June 30th through the 2nd of July. Then the last weekend of September Street Vibrations Fall Rally will celebrate another great year of motorcycling on the west coast.
