MADERA - With their parents watching from the bleachers of Madera's Memorial Stadium, the 188th graduating class from Madera High School stepped towards their future Friday night. Over 500 students accepted their diplomas and are preparing for their service to our country, futures in college or just starting their life's.
Guest speaker Larry Powell, former Fresno County Superintendent of Education, told the graduates that no matter what life presenting them they would never lose their value. Student speakers delivered the message to Dare to Dream.
Following graduation the students returned to Madera High School for one last party. The CHP sponsored Sober Graduation went off without a hitch and the kids danced, ate, played games and took home prizes all night long.
