 Patrick Jean Louis Sagouspe was born in Madera on October 29, 1953 and passed away at the age of 58 on April 16, 2012 in Madera. He was the oldest child born to Frank and Madeleine Sagouspe, and raised on a farm in the Ripperdan area. He was a 1971 graduate of Madera High School, and attended Fresno City College. After working on the family farm for many years, Patrick moved to San Diego where he worked in marketing and computer graphics for over 20 years. He returned to live in Madera in 2008. Patrick was a gifted photographer and graphic artist, using his creative talents to make beautiful artwork that was featured in newspapers, magazines, advertisements, billboards, signs and art exhibits. He loved all animals, especially the many cats and dogs that he adopted throughout his life. He was a kind and gentle soul, a dreamer, and on a constant quest for a better life. He will be greatly missed. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Madeleine Sagouspe. He is survived by his sisters Chantal Sagouspe of Fresno; Claudine Mariscotti and her husband Chris of Madera; his beloved niece Gianna Mariscotti , brother Greg Basila and his wife Barbara of Fresno; Jon Basila and his wife Marie of Madera; brother Robert Basila and wife Joann of San Francisco, and numerous relatives throughout California and France. Patrick also leaves behind many dear friends especially Sharon Kelly, Art Werner and Wendy Alexander and family, Keni Bush and Ramona Frances who spent much time with them in the last years of his life. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Donations may be made to Friends of Madera Animals Shelter Spay and Neuter Program P.O. Box 923, Madera, CA 93639 or donor's favorite charity.
