| Two Fires in Southwest Visalia Damage Homes |

On Visalia firefighters arrival, they found the mobile home fully involved with fire. Fifteen firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading and extinguished the fire within 20 minutes.
The estimated property loss for the fire was $6000 to the property and it was not furnished so there was no estimated loss to the contents. No injuries were reported at the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A second fire was reported in the kitchen of a home located at 1429 E. Vassar to emergency dispatchers at 6:01 PM. Upon arrival Visalia firefighters contained a fire to the kitchen area, but there was smoke and heat damage sustained throughout the home. Fourteen firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading and extinguished the fire within 10 minutes. The estimated property loss for the fire was $20,000 to the property and $7,000 to the contents. No injuries were reported at the incident. The cause of the fire was determined to be a mechanical failure of the dishwasher.

VISALIA - A fast moving fire destroyed one mobile home in Visalia Thursday night. The fire, in the Rancho Fiesta Mobile Home Park, was reported to emergency dispatchers at 10:56 PM.
