 Mr. Joe Amaro passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the age of 56. Joe was a lifelong resident of Madera; he graduated from Madera High School class of 1973. Joe was a Diesel Mechanic at Foster Farms for 30 years. He was a coach and very active in the Madera softball leagues. Joe belonged to the Madera New Life Apostolic Church. Joe is survived by his wife of 36 years, Josephine Amaro, his son Joseph "JJ" Amaro, his daughter Julie Amaro, two brothers, Chris Berra and Mike Berra, all of Madera, two sisters, Lupe Vargas of Newark, CA and Monica Lugo of Oregon. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on: Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA. Funeral Service will be held on: Monday, June 11, 2012, 10:00 A.M. at New Life Apostolic Church, Merced, CA. Interment to follow at: Arbor Vitae Cemetery, 1301 Roberts Avenue, Madera, CA Remembrances may be made to: American Cancer Society, 2222 W Shaw Ave Suite 201, Fresno, CA 93711
