CLOVIS - Police detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a clerk at gunpoint in the 7-11 store at Clovis and Barstow avenues about 3:30 in the morning last Friday. No one was hurt. The man walked into the store and placed a bag of potato chips and a survival bracelet on the counter. Then, he pulled a large revolver from his waistband and told the clerk, “No problems. No problems.”
The clerk gave him the money from the cash register, and the man left westbound on foot on Barstow toward Pollasky. The suspect is described as American Indian or Hispanic about 5’10”, 180 pounds with long black hair. He had multiple tattoos on both arms, including tribal tattoos on his left arm.
The man was wearing a black shirt, baggy black jeans, a dark gray baseball hat with an “SF” emblem on it and glasses with black frames.
If you have any information on the suspect or his whereabouts, you are asked to call the Clovis Police Department at (559) 324-3437.
