Chowchilla Western Stampede is celebrating its 55th year in April of 2012!
Chowchilla Stampede is known for the cattle drive that goes down the main street of Chowchilla. This cattle drive initiates the start of a week of Stampede events and each year there is team roping and concessions. Cowboys and Cowgirls come from all over California to compete in the many team roping events offered.
Roping is a family sport and we strongly encourage community involvement in the "Stampede" and all of it's activities. Downtown cattle drive is April 11th at 10am
