Anne Marie Lozano (70), a native of New York City, NY and a resident of Madera for 41 years, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at her Madera home. She was an administrative assistant for Madera Unified School District where she worked for 35 years.
Anne was also a past president and active member of Madera Evening Lions and Madera Linkage Foundation. Anne also was the coordinator of Measure G which raised money to build a new high school in Madera.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Anna Rosa (Alfaro) Guzman.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Raul Lozano of Madera, CA. Two sons: Daniel Darrow of Alaska and David Darrow of Indiana. One daughter: Devon McTeer of Fresno, CA. two brothers: Art Guzman of Nevada and Roy Guzman of Arizona, and 8 grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 12:30 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 1:00 pm at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Services conclude at the church. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
