FRESNO - Tuesday evening officers from the Fresno Police Departments Southwest Division were dispatched to 404 W Franklin in regards to a disturbance with subjects in an RV who were refusing to leave. Upon arrival, Officers noticed that the RV had registration that expired in 2003. Roberto Silguero (37) was contacted in the RV.
A search for weapons and contraband was conducted with consent and Officers located several new and used syringes on his person and a plastic container containing hashish. An inventory search of the RV revealed a magazine loaded with six .380 rounds of ammunition, a bag containing eighteen 12 gauge shotgun rounds, a 12 gauge bolt action shot gun with a wooden pistol grip and one 12 gauge shotgun round in the chamber.
Silguero was found to have prior felony convictions for weapons offenses and not allowed to possess firearms or ammunition. He also had an outstanding warrant out of Kings County. He admitted to being an active Lewis St Bulldog and had several gang tattoos.
The Fresno Police Department would like to remind the public that Crime Stoppers has enhanced the rewards for information related to gang members who are involved in narcotic sales, firearm possession, and human trafficking. The new campaign consists of the following monetary rewards for anonymous tips. If a gang member is arrested for possessing a handgun, the reward is $2,000.
If a gang member is arrested for possessing an assault rifle, the reward is $3,000. If a gang member is arrested for human trafficking, the reward is $3,000 and if a gang member is involved in drug sales, the reward is $1,000.
