MADERA - The Madera County Clerk-Recorder & Registrar of Voters announced today that all registered voters in Madera County will be receiving their Official Ballots for the upcoming March 3, 2020, Presidential Primary Election in the mail beginning February 3rd.
As a Voter’s Choice Act County, voters have more choices for voting and returning their ballots. GREAT NEWS! You will no longer have to place a stamp on your ballot envelope to return your ballot through the US Mail – We’ve got it covered! Voted ballots may also be returned at any secure Ballot Drop Box or at any Vote Center in Madera County.
Remember, you do not have to vote for the ballot we mailed you. You can vote in person at any vote center. The back pages of your County Voter Information Guide list the Ballot DropBox and Vote Center locations, dates and hours of operation. AVOID LONG LINES, VOTE BEFORE ELECTION DAY.
When voting, follow the instructions provided with your ballot. Mark your ballot with blue or black ink only. Do not use red ink. Do not use a pencil. Most importantly, be sure to sign the blue return envelope under the red section and arrow.
Voted ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received within three days after the Election to be considered timely.
