Patricia (Pat) Washburn (91)

Patricia (Pat) Washburn (91) was born on June 21, 1926 as Patricia Ryan. She was born in Madera, Ca. After a brief illness she died on November 27, 2017 in O’Neals, Ca. known as Ryan Ranch at Hildreth. She graduated from Madera High School Class of 1946. She later married Jimmie Washburn on June 21, 1945. She lived 88 years in the O’Neals area.

She is a retired school bus driver of the Spring Valley School District after 25 years. She belonged to many organizations over the years, Gem and Mineral club, 4-H leader 15 years, O’Neals Community Center, O’Neals Farm Bureau Women’s Club, Grandmother’s Club, Coarsegold Historical Society, Fresno Orchid Society and two different Card Clubs.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie (Jumbo) Washburn, parents William (Bill) and Faustina Ryan, 2 brothers Bobby and Richard (Dick) Ryan and 1 sister Margret McMullen.

Pat is survived by her son Jack Washburn Sr. and his wife Lynn of Oakhurst, daughter Faustina Washburn and her husband Tim Roache of O’Neals, daughter Janice Gomes and her husband Brent of Madera. She is the Grandmother of Samantha Beavers and her husband Chris of Madera, and Jack Washburn Jr. and his wife Krista of Oakhurst. She is the Great Grandmother of Madison and Hunter Washburn of Oakhurst, Ryan Beavers and his wife London of Dallas, TX and Pvt. Jimmy Beavers of Fort Lee, VA. She is the Great Great Grandmother of Jace Beavers of Dallas, TX. Also surviving is her sister Maryann Nyberg and her husband Bob of Fresno and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jay Chapel, Madera.

Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 9:00 AM at North Fork Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Little Church of the Pines in Bass Lake at 10:30 AM and reception.

Remembrances may be made to donor’s favorite Charity.
