Sally Ann Ferdinandi (78)

Sally Ann Ferdinandi of Fresno, California passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 to be reunited with her loving husband John Ferdinandi. She was born on January 15, 1934 in Berkeley, to Charles and Agatha Wilson. After moving to Fresno, Sally became an active volunteer at St. Anthony's Parish and San Joaquin Memorial High School.

For many years, Sally worked alongside John as a manager of retirement facilities in in various communities including Santa Rosa and San Diego. Sally was an avid fan of baseball and lover her "Giants."

 
In addition to her husband and parents Sally was preceded in death by her son-in-law Tom Burns. A devoted wife and mother, Sally is survived by her son, Tom Ferdinandi and his wife Karen; daughters, Nancy Wathen and her husband Mark, Barbara Burns, Mary Smith and her husband Tim, and Teresa Ferdinandi-Hernandez; and grandchildren, Sadie Simonson and her husband Joey, Jason Burns, Michael Ferdinandi, Nicole Burns, Stephen Ferdinandi, Nate Wathen, Ashley Burns, Benjamin Hernandez, Madeline Hernandez, and Matthew Smith. She is further survived by her sister Nancy Potts and her husband Tony, brother-in-law Tom Ferdinandi and his wife Jane and many nieces and nephews.
 
The family wishes to thank Sunrise of Fresno, Asera Care Hospice and friends Cindy Ferdinandi, Barbara Orlando and Morilene Raterman for their kindness and care during her illness.  
 
A private family service will be held with interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.  

Remembrances may be made to San Joaquin Memorial High School or to St. Anthony's School.
