Deborah Ann (Koretoff) Gingell (57)

Deborah Ann (Koretoff) Gingell (57) passed away, peacefully, on January 4th at the CRMC Medical Center, Fresno, CA after suffering a massive heart attack the day before. Deborah was born & raised in Madera and is survived by her Father, John Koretoff Jr. and Brothers John Koretoff III and Richard Koretoff and Sister Nina Koretoff as well as Husband of nearly 15 years Peter Gingell and her 4 rescued Dogs - Duby, Dylan, Dasha & Daisy.

Her husband Peter had this to say about Deborah, "There are no words to describe my loss but here it goes…..I met Deborah, online, and we chatted for about a year, that led to phone calls and eventually I flew out from Nottingham, England to California to visit Deborah with my Daughter, Sara. We did all the tourist stuff in Los Angeles and had a great time. I flew back on my own a couple of months later and from then on every few months for two years after that. Eventually we decided we were meant for each other and started on immigration paperwork and I moved to California in May of 2004. We were married on June 26th 2004 and a few months later I became a Permanent Resident."

Deborah was the Life & soul of the party and brightened up any room or venue she walked in to with an infectious smile and her dazzling piercing Blue eyes. She Loved Dogs, especially rescued Dogs and we ended up with 5, Dustin left us a year or so ago and she looked after a stray at her work.

She had love of photography & concerts which led to her shooting many shows and meeting a lot of her hero’s and meeting so many fabulous people, not least the band of local Photographers at shows such as ApCal, Fulton 55 & the Tower Theater. She was in her element. Peter and Deborah would often be up until the next morning editing away in a very competitive way.

"I will certainly miss her at shows and pretty much everywhere – we did most things together and really enjoyed being together with too many fun times to mention. She was the Love of my Life and I am lost & broken without her, we all are, but by the same token I have a lifetime of great memories to ease the pain.", Peter added,

“Life’s too short and tomorrow is not a guarantee. Do what makes you happy, be with those that make you smile and love life….” – Edzzzy Quotes

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera.
